Appleは、米国Appleのトップページに、米国の祝日である｢Martin Luther King Jr. Day｣に合わせ、大きくキング牧師の顔写真を掲載しました。
Appleはこれを2015年から Martin Luther King Jr. Day に毎年行っています。
今年は写真とともに｢Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.（不正はいかなる場所にあろうとも、あらゆる場所において正義への脅威となる）｣と書かれています。
キング牧師
キング牧師は、黒人の差別撤廃のために尽力した人として有名です。ノーベル平和賞を受賞した、彼の演説 ｢I have a dream.｣は、米国のみならず日本でも中高生が暗唱したりと有名です。
Appleの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるティム・クックは、キング牧師を尊敬しており、ティム・クックCEOのTwitterには度々 キング牧師が登場します。
